Return to Newbury Racecourse
Back in the Summer, we returned to Newbury Racecourse with commissions for more signage.
Yes, we know those balmy temperatures and long days now seem a million miles away! But we didn’t want to pass over the work we’d done there…especially as this is the latest episode in our ongoing work at the famous racecourse. For example:
- In Summer 2017, we created flags, banners and signage for the new entrance building. We also produced signage for their Party in the Paddock event.
- Later in the year, we produced signs for the Ladbrokes Winter Carnival. We also provided exterior and interior signs for the new Owners Club.
- In Summer 2018 we were back, supplying brushed stainless steel plaques as interior signage.
And it was also this Summer that we provided graphics for Newbury Racecourse’s 2018 Ladies Day. This massively popular event sees racegoers dressed in their finest frocks, with many an extravagant hat on show. It’s enormous fun for all. As the Newbury website describes it:
Ladies Day is the social event of the Newbury summer season, combining superb racing including the Hungerford Stakes, with fashion, glamour and entertainment off-the-track.
Mirage Signs were pleased to help this event — reported in the national press — go with a bang. You can see three of the signs we supplied below:
With their floral motifs and attractive peach colour palette, we hope you agree that they’re suitably elegant. And they were, of course, delivered in a timely fashion.
We look forward to being part of Newbury Racecourse’s ongoing development and hope to support more of their events.
Speaking of events…Mirage Signs produces graphics for all types and sizes of event — so even if yours isn’t on the scale of Newbury’s, please get in touch!
